A Florida cop made a request to his female prisoner. It cost him his job

Nicholas Aitchison reportedly lost his job Tuesday, four days after being charged in Volusia County Circuit Court with battery, false imprisonment and exposure of sexual organs. Aitchison is being accused of commiting the offenses while on his former job

Aitchison’s former job: Daytona Beach police officer.

The Daytona News-Journal reported Aitchison’s firing Tuesday, but said Daytona Beach Chief of Police Craig Capri took Aitchison off duty June 1, two days after the officer’s alleged crimes against a female in his custody.

“I took away his ID, his gun, his badge and all his police equipment the very same day we received the complaint,” Capri told the News-Journal. “He’s gone. There is no way I would put that guy to work for me.”

A report by WFTV-Channel 9 says investigators believe Aitchison, a 29-year-old prison transport driver, didn’t go directly to jail with the woman as he was supposed to on May 30. Instead, investigators believe, he parked for 8 1/2 two miles away from the jail, showed the woman his genitals and asked for oral sex. The woman reported Aitchison after he finished transporting her.

Aitchison is out after posting $15,000 bond.
