Officials investigate reports of overnight shooting
After reports of a shooting, officials were on the scene in a Sarasota County neighborhood Sunday night, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to an incident in the 2500 block of Man of War Circle just before 9 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a shooting inside the home, but when they arrived found no one in the home was injured. according to the sheriff’s office.
Those who lived in the home were sent to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
