Florida man found dead. Cops not saying much but do say it was a homicide
What started as a suspicious death in North Port has been ruled a homicide, according to police.
The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Roxbury Circle Tuesday, when North Port police first began an investigation into a suspicious death.
Jaqavies "Quay-Quay" Rivers, 22, of North Port was found dead. Police do not believe it was a random act and are investigating his death as a homicide.
Officials said in a tweet they are not releasing any additional information, including how Rivers died, citing "preservation of this investigation."
