Police need help finding masked man who robbed Papa John’s at gunpoint
Police are looking for a masked man who robbed a Papa John’s Pizza at gunpoint in Bradenton early Saturday morning.
At 1:48 a.m. Saturday, the masked suspect entered the Papa John’s Pizza, 4224 Cortez Road W., through a back door and held store employees at gunpoint, according to a news release. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and then ran off.
Police say the suspect is a man between 5 feet, 9 inches and 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and his face was covered with a dark, gray mask. The suspect was armed with a silver handgun, possibly a revolver, police said.
On Monday, police released images captured from the restaurant’s video surveillance system.
