Police identify suspect in shooting at Citgo in Palmetto

Police have identified the suspected shooter responsible for shooting another man in the leg while inside the Citgo convenience store in Palmetto.

Lazandious Marshall Randall Jr., 22, is wanted for attempted murder, according to the Palmetto Police Department.

Randall had gotten into a fist fight with and ended up shooting the victim at about 4 p.m. Monday while they were inside the store at 203 10th St. W., Palmetto, according to a news release.

Palmetto police announced Thursday evening that they had identified Randall as the shooter and had a warrant for his arrest.

The victim is expected to recover from his injury, police said.
