Couple facing charges after passing out with child in car
A husband and wife are facing child abuse charges after being found passed out in a car in St. Petersburg with a child inside.
According to St. Petersburg police Kyle Barrett, 30, and Netasha Hill, 39, were sniffing drugs Tuesday afternoon when they passed out. Officers found them unconscious in a running vehicle with a baby in the car crying.
Only one window was open in the car and the air conditioning was on, police said.
Barrett was in the driver's seat with his foot on the brake - the car in reverse.
Booking records show Hill bonded out of jail earlier this week but her husband remains in jail.
This is a first child abuse arrest for both.
