A man made nearly 100 calls to police, all to get money back.

Clearwater police said in a Facebook post Michael Mott was charged with harassing telephone calls after he called the communications center 98 times Monday trying to get money that had been seized.

Mott made the calls using two phones, even calling in front of an officer. The money was seized by officials during a drug arrest in January, according to the Facebook Post.

“He tied up valuable resources and telephone lines that are meant to help Clearwater citizens in need,” police said in the post.

Mott is being held in the Pinellas County Jail.
