2 dead in Pinellas County shootings
Police are investigating two overnight fatal shootings in Pinellas County.
Crews responded to shootings early Wednesday in Gulfport and St. Petersburg.
According to Gulfport police, authorities received a call at 10:35 p.m. of an armed person at a home in the 2600 block of Miriam Street South. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he died.
The case is being investigated as a homicide. Although the detectives are working on some leads, the suspect is unknown at this time.
The victim's identity has not been released.

Meanwhile, about two miles away, St. Petersburg police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at 18th Avenue South and 31st Street South.
Police have not released any information, only saying the victim was a man in his 40s.
