Police investigate possible abduction of woman

Tampa police are investigating a possible abduction that occurred Monday afternoon.

Witnesses reported seeing a black male grab, strike, and force a black female into a black, 2017 Ford Fusion, with a Florida tag of HNKM01.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the area of North Armenia Avenue and West Main Street.

The suspect is described as being in his mid to late 20s, 5 feet, 10 inches talk to 6 feet in height, around 170 pounds, and with a small mustache. He was wearing a dark shirt and shorts, and a black and red baseball cap.

Police also said the suspect may have been armed with a handgun.

The victim is described as being in her mid to late 20s, and was wearing a white blouse and white shorts.
