One man is dead and four others are injured after a neighborhood argument led to a stabbing.

According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Col. Donna Lusczynski, multiple 911 calls came in around 1 a.m. Wednesday regarding a fight in the 1300 block of Windsor Way in Tampa.

When deputies arrived, the fighting had stopped but the two people involved were still yelling, Lusczynski said.

Two 17-year-olds, a 20-year-old and two 23-year-olds had been stabbed, according to Lusczynski. One of the 23-year-olds, a man who has not been identified, died. Two of the individuals had been transported to the hospital by friends and three were transported by ambulance.

As detectives piece together the story, search warrants will be required for the two residences. At least nine or 10 other people were present for the altercation, Lusczynski said.

The investigation is ongoing.
