Thirsty thieves make off with $500 worth of liquor, cops say

Not only must they be thirsty, but alleged liquor thieves also have expensive taste.

North Port police are looking to identify two suspects who they say took $500 worth of liquor from a store on Tamiami Trail on May 6.

The duo parked a vehicle in front of a liquor store near Wal-Mart in the 17000 block of Tamiami Trail and went into the liquor store, taking Patron, Remy Martin, Hennessy and Bacardi with them when they left in the same vehicle, according to police.
