3 records fall during fourth annual Jingle 5K at Lakewood Ranch

LAKEWOOD RANCH -- Three course records were set during the fourth annual Jingle 5K held Dec. 18 at Lakewood Ranch Main Street.

Cool temperatures helped draw a record turnout of 1,750 registered runners and walkers.

The male course record was set by overall male winner Michael Lamp, 26, who completred the course in , 16 minutes, 5 seconds.

The female overall winner, Bailey Hertenstein, 15, of Brandon also set a course record of 17:16.

Other male winners: male master Hector Guzman, 47, Bradenton, 16:55; male grand master Christopher Sarno, 50, Sarasota , 19:52; male senior grand master Frank Davis, 71, Rock Falls, Ill., 21:30; and male veterans Silky Sullivan, 71, Seminole, 27:33.

Other female winners: female master Heather Butcher, 43, North Port, 17:43; female grand master Suzanne Hoffman, 52, Lakewood Ranch, 21:20; female senior grand masters Mary Quinn, 60, Bradenton, 23:48; and female veterans Colette Knox, 73, Lakewood Ranch, 31:34.

Kid's Santa Dash winners: 3-4 years boy Logan Yates; 3-4 years girl Estella Fairweather; 5-6 years boy Cameron Yates; 5-6 years girl Lexy Brielmann; 7-9 years boy Daniel Gruho; 7-9 years girl Abby Hite; 10-12 years boy Travis Landrum; and 10-12 years girl Lauren Golon.
