Golf tourney to benefit Manatee’s homeless or distressed veterans

Victory for Veterans of Manatee County plans a golf tournament to benefit homeless or distressed vets Aug. 27 at Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Course, 4260 Ironwood Circle, Bradenton.

The Pinebrook Ironwood Golf Course is donating its facility for the tourney, and all funds will go to Turning Points Yellow ribbon program to benefit vets, said Dan O’Connell, founder of Victory for Veterans.
