Crash blocks Interstate 75

Southbound Interstate 75 in Charlotte County is blocked after a traffic crash Wednesday that injured at least one person, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash, which was reported at 11:13 a.m., happened near mile marker 157 in Punta Gorda, according to the FHP website.

The FHP said traffic was blocked, and emergency vehicles were using the left lane.
