Pancakes & Politics in Parrish set for Saturday
Pancakes and Politics in Parrish, a political forum moderated by Bradenton Herald Editorial Page Editor Chris Wille, is set for the Florida Railroad Museum, 12210 83rd St. E., Parrish, 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30. Featured candidates include those running for the District 1 County Commission seat, the at-large county commission seat, and the school board.
The public is invited to enjoy free pancakes prepared by the Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club.
Candidates invited include Corie Holmes, Ronald Reagan, and Priscilla Whisenant Trace, all seeking the District 1 commission seat; Betsy Benac and Jack Richardson, seeking the at-large commission seat; Xtavia K. Bailey, Gina K. Messenger, Linda S. Schaich, and Edward Viltz, seeking the District 1 school board seat; Charles S. Conoley, Dave Miner, and Misty Martin Servia, seeking the District 3 school board seat; and John Colon, seeking the District 5 school board seat.
