The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a couple on felony drug and child neglect charges after allegedly selling cocaine to undercover detectives four times while their children were inside the vehicle.

Deputies arrested Destiny Dexter, 27, and Reginald Frazier, 30, both of 1720 Dr. Martin Luther King Way in Sarasota. Both were charged with two counts of sale of cocaine and two counts of child neglect and are being held without bond in the Sarasota County Jail.

Authorities say that on four separate occasions throughout May, the couple met with undercover detectives in the 3000 block of 17th Street and sold the deputies 2 grams of cocaine for $400.

“During each transaction, the couple had at least two children in the car and during the most recent incident, detectives observed four children under the age of 5, in the back seat,” states a Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office press release.
