Absentee ballots for the Aug. 30 primary will begin to be mailed out next Friday.
The Manatee Supervisor of Elections Office will mail the vote-by-mail ballots to absent stateside military voters and overseas military and civilian voters July 15 and domestic vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed beginning July 26, according to Sharon Stief, chief deputy with the Manatee Supervisor of Elections Office.
Voters can continue to request a vote-by-mail ballot until 5 p.m. Aug. 24 and the ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. Election Day.
