Bradenton developer Carlos Beruff releases third ad for U.S. Senate campaign
Carlos Beruff, a Bradenton developer running for the U.S. Senate, released his third campaign advertisement Tuesday, nearly identical to his first ad released two weeks ago.
The newest ad, called "Teleprompter," has the same theme as the first ad, "Forget Them." Both talk about "useless" and "worthless" politicians and say Beruff is a businessman.
"They waste our money, they make America weaker and they refuse to secure our border," both ads say, word for word.
Teleprompter adds the lines: "Obama is a disaster," and "How about we take our country back and put America first."
The second ad released by Beruff was in Spanish and aired only in the Miami area, according to a campaign spokesman. It focused on Beruff's family history, leaving Cuba to come to the United States. It made no mention of securing the border, which a campaign spokesman said was due to time constraints.
The full text of the latest ad:
"I'm Carlos Beruff. I'm not a politician. I'm a businessman running for the Senate and I approve this message. The experts want me to read a bunch of political crap off this teleprompter. Here's what I have to say. Obama's a disaster and Washington politicians are worthless. They waste our money, they make America weaker and they refuse to secure our border. It's ridiculous. Let's get rid of them. I'm Carlos Beruff. How about we take our country back and put America first."
