Sen. Marco Rubio to campaign Tuesday in Manatee County

MANATEE -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., will bring his presidential  campaign to Manatee County on Tuesday.

Rubio is scheduled to appear at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Dolphin Aviation, 8191 N. Tamiami Trail, at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

Rubio also will campaign at 5 p.m. Monday at the Tampa Convention Center.

Florida junior senator, who lags behind GOP frontrunner Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the delegate count, plans to spend most of his time in his home state leading up to the March 15 winner-take-all primary.

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton is expected to bring her campaign to Tampa on Thursday.
