Manatee County to close Coquina South Boat Ramp for minor repairs

MANATEE -- Coquina South Boat Ramp will be closed Tuesday for minor repairs.

The ramp, 2652 Gulf Drive, Bradenton Beach, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to a post on the county's Facebook page.

"We will be adding road base material to the low areas in the parking lot to prevent future standing water issues," the post reads. "Once we distribute the road base material to the low areas, we will grade (level out and pitch) the access road, parking lot and boat ramp areas."

In addition to the boat ramp, "the access road (entrance) and to the bridge area will be closed during this time as well," according to the post.
