Manatee Just For Girls lunch set March 30
MANATEE -- Stefanie Overturf will be guest speaker for the annual Just For Girls spring luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30.
Overturf, a Just for Girls alumni and board member, owns Overturf's Floor & Fabric Care, immediate past president of BNI Circle of Success, member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the Realtor Association of Sarasota Manatee, Women in Business Leadership Circle for SRQ and director of Bradenton's Successful Women Aligning Together.
Recent awards include Chamber of Commerce 2015 Small Business of the Year, 2015 finalist for Biz 941 Women in Business Award and two-time winner of SWAT's Woman of the Month.
The 2016 Honorary Girl Awards will be provided.
Lunch by the Courtyard Marriott, silent auctions and drawings, and a performance by Just for Girls Academy Choir. Tickets are $50.

Young Manatee GOP to host LWR debate watch party
LAKEWOOD RANCH -- The Manatee County Young Republicans will host a debate watch party at Beef O'Brady's Lakewood Ranch, 1795 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.
Dinner is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 followed by the 9 p.m. debate. Free for MCYR members, $5 per person for nonmembers.

Donald Trump expected at rally in Tampa Feb. 12
TAMPA -- GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is planning a rally at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa next Friday, Feb. 12 -- three days after New Hampshire's primary.
Competition Trump will face in Florida's March 15 primary from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio should be better defined by the first primary.
The Trump campaign has not officially announced the event yet. The arena can seat more than 10,000 people.
