Three Manatee County residents injured in two-vehicle crash in Myakka City on Saturday
MYAKKA CITY -- Three Manatee County residents were injured in a two-vehicle head-on crash about 1:45 p.m. Saturday on Singletary Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver of a 2015 Nissan traveling east-bound turned into a driveway in the 34000 block of Singletary Road in front of a west-bound Dodge Ram pickup. The driver of the pickup truck braked and swerved to avoid contact, leaving 148 feet of skid marks, according to an FHP report,
The occupants of the Nissan were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center with minor injuries.
