Dense fog advisory in Manatee, Sarasota

Manatee and Sarasota counties are under a dense fog advisory Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists say visibility will commonly be reduced to less than a quarter of a mile under the fog conditions and advise motorists to use low-beam headlights and leave plenty of room behind the vehicles in front of them.

"The fog is expected to begin to lift after sunrise and be gone around mid-morning," the report stated.

It's also possible that Wednesday morning will have dense fog.
