Manatee County can expect near-perfect weekend weather
MANATEE -- Manatee County will wake up to mostly clear skies Saturday with lows in the 50s and highs in the mid- to upper 70s, said Diane Kacmarik, Bay News 9 meteorologist.
As expected, a cold front came through with some clouds Friday morning. Drier, less humid and slightly cooler air is moving in for the weekend.
For Saturday morning, expect mostly clear skies with dropping temperatures with lows in the 50s to low 60s. Temperatures will hover in a very comfortable range.
There will be a lot of high clouds streaming in from the west Saturday so it will not be a perfectly clear day. Expect skies to be variably cloudy. That combined with highs in the mid- to upper 70s will make for a more autumn-like feel than has been seen lately. Winds will also increase from the north, making for a breezy north wind.
Saturday night will be seasonably cool with lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s into Sunday morning. Skies will be partly cloudy Sunday with highs around 80 degrees. Sunday night will wrap up the weekend with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies and lows in the 60s.
A warming trend next week means temps back into the 80s for highs during the afternoon. Monday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid-80s. Tuesday will be similar and will still feature comfortable humidity.
From Wednesday to Friday, humidity will go back up and temperatures will remain closer to record highs in the mid- to upper 80s. There will also be a few scattered showers due to the slow increase in moisture.
