MANATEE -- Thirty-one Manatee County residents are vying to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission.

At Tuesday's commission meeting, the county commission is set to appoint one person to the advisory board for a term ending in October 2019. The vacancy was caused by the end of current Chairman Bill Conerly's term. Conerly has reapplied for the seat.
