Bradenton accepting housing assistance applications
BRADENTON -- The city of Bradenton is accepting applications until Oct. 26 for State Housing Initiatives Partnership housing rehabilitation assistance.
According to a press release, the city expects to receive $248,259 in SHIP funding. Those earning up to 80 percent of the area median income, which is about $41,000 a year, are eligible to apply for funding.
Applications are available at City Hall, 101 Old Main St. from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Applications also are available online at cityofbradenton.com. For more information, call Vicki White at 941-932-9400.
