Check out our redesigned Bradenton.com -- it's faster, easier to use
We've introduced a new look for Bradenton.com -- our first real digital makeover in several years. We think you'll find the redesign easier to navigate, more useful and much more inviting.
What are some of the key changes?
Speed. Bradenton.com now loads faster and gets our news to you much faster.
Tailored to your device. It doesn't matter if you're checking us on your computer, smart phone or iPad. Bradenton.com now is much more responsive, tailoring itself to the screen size of your device of choice.
Cleaner, bolder presentation. Our photos and headlines are larger, and stories -- with their related content -- are more clearly defined.
Videos, videos, videos. Our staff is proud of the growing number of local videos we're producing, and they're much easier to find now -- along with some of the most popular videos every day from around the world.
The new technology is particularly relevant today, as our Bradenton.com readers become more and more mobile. More than half of our online traffic every day comes from mobile devices -- either phones or tablets. We want to make it easier for you to grab the news you need on the go -- everything from the latest sports scores, to breaking news on every front, especially crime and politics.
We suggest upgrading your browser -- Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari -- to its latest version. The upgrades are free and easy to install.
Check out the blue navigation bar at the top. That menu will help you navigate to your favorite sections, and probably discover others that you'll grow to love. Click on the "Full Menu" at the left (or on the three horizontal lines) to find more specific sections. On your phone, get a similar breakout by clicking on the screen's icon in the top left corner. Click on the weather icon for your five-day forecast and a link to data for wherever you're traveling.
Signing in for your digital account, which gives full access to all content, hasn't changed. Click on "Login" to the left of the nameplate on any page.
In the Opinion section, you'll find an easy-to-use form for your submission to the "Letters to the Editor." There's also a form to submit news tips to our staff. Go to "Full Menu" in the blue navigation bar and you'll find it under News in the pulldown tab.
We want to hear from you, so we can make needed adjustments and help you through these changes. To provide your feedback, go to "Customer Service" under the full menu on the home page.
We look forward to hearing from you!
