Reception Tuesday for retiring Holmes Beach police chief

HOLMES BEACH -- Holmes Beach Police Chief Jay Romine will be honored at a reception Tuesday in his honor upon his retirement.

The long-time chief announced he would retire after many years on the force, first as an officer and then as chief.

The reception is set for 6 p.m. at the Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach. The public is invited to attend.
