Parrish teen killed after van crashes into building in Wisconsin, police say

A Parrish teenager was killed Monday after a passenger van crashed into a building in Wisconsin, striking him and several other people inside, according to police.

Police said an 18-year-old from Parrish was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A GoFundMe for the victim’s family identified him as Manatee County resident Cayden Dileo.

Police said emergency crews responded around 3:52 p.m. Monday to Matthews Tire store in the 2900 block of West College Avenue in Grand Chute in Wisconsin after receiving reports that a vehicle had crashed into a building and injured multiple people.

A preliminary investigation found that a passenger van entered the building while attempting to park, striking several people inside, police said.

Two other people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation.
