A new housing community with ‘natural beauty’ is coming to Lakewood Ranch

Atlanta-based home builder PulteGroup announced it has purchased nearly 500 acres of land to build 1,000 homes in a new development called EverCreek at Lakewood Ranch.

Located near Bourneside Boulevard and between University Parkway and Fruitville Road in Sarasota County, the neighborhood will feature 850 single-family homes and 150 townhomes.

Home designs and pricing have not been announced, however, Pulte said in a news release that homes will be between 1,580 to 3,820 square feet and have two to five bedrooms, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms and one- to three-car garages.

“We thoughtfully planned EverCreek to be a sanctuary that honors the natural beauty of Lakewood Ranch,” Josh Graeve, president of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida Division, said in a news release.

Planned EverCreek amenities include the following:

  • Eight-acre lakeside amenity campus
  • Resort-style pool with beach entry connected to a lazy river
  • Poolside hammock lounge area
  • Firepit lounge area
  • Clubhouse with a fitness center and community gathering spaces
  • Eight pickleball courts with courtside shade structure
  • Dog park with shade structures
  • Recreational lawn with multi-use field
  • Playground
  • Basketball court
  • Splash zone
  • Lakeside pier
  • Nearly three miles of trails connected to the 150-mile Lakewood Ranch trail system

“Pulte has been an outstanding partner in shaping thoughtfully designed, multi-generational villages that resonate with today’s homebuyers,” Lakewood Ranch Communities’ vice president of sales and marketing Sandy Shahinian Levins said in a news release. “Their newest village will continue that momentum, adding to the dynamic lifestyle, strong sense of connection and exceptional living experience that define Lakewood Ranch.”

A construction timeline for the neighborhood was not announced.
