Aldi announces grand opening date of newest Manatee County grocery store
A new grocery store in Manatee County is holding an opening celebration.
Aldi is scheduled to open Thursday, April 23, at 6040 Crossland Trail off State Road 70 E. in East Manatee.
It marks the eighth Aldi grocery store in Manatee County.
The first 200 customers will receive a gift bag sample of Aldi products and a gift card as part of the company’s Golden Ticket giveaway program, according to a news release.
The Golden Ticket giveaway program issues gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $100, with only 10 gift cards at the $100 value handed out and 100 of the $5 gift cards awarded, according to the company.
The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Thursday’s grand opening celebration beginning at 8:45 a.m.
Aldi set to open new Bradenton grocery store
“At our new Bradenton Aldi store, customers will see why so many already choose Aldi for their weekly grocery shopping,” Aldi Regional Vice President Matt Thon said in a news release. “As shoppers look to stretch their dollar further, we’re excited to open this new location and bring more people a high-quality grocery selection they want and need at the lowest possible price.”
According to a news release, the new Aldi store will feature organic meats, produce, sustainable seafood, cheese and wine selections; the Aldi Finds program highlighting seasonal and on-trend items; grocery delivery and curbside pickup.
