Body found under Manatee County overpass, FHP says. Troopers investigating
The Florida Highway Patrol says it is conducting a death investigation after a 64-year-old man from Sarasota was found dead on a Manatee County interstate early Monday morning.
Troopers say the man’s body was found around 12:15 a.m. on Interstate 75, underneath the Interstate 275 overpass in the Palmetto area.
The agency did not identify the Sarasota man, but said troopers are alerting his next of kin.
No other details were provided.
