New affordable apartment complex proposed in Manatee County, records say
New apartments could be coming to East Manatee County.
Paperwork was recently filed with Manatee County Development Services for 252 affordable multifamily residential apartments located north of State Road 64 East, east of Lorraine Road and west of Zipperer Road.
The project at 15005 State Road 64 East would consist of three buildings each with 84 units that are wrapped around a proposed pond, according to building records. The development includes an amenity center, pool and dog park, according to building records.
The project, called SR 64 Apartments, encompasses two land parcels totaling 10 acres. Those land parcels were previously approved at public hearings with the Manatee County Commission for rezoning from agricultural to general commercial, according to records.
A timeline for the project’s construction have not been announced.
