Bradenton water main break causes traffic delays on busy road, officials say
A water main break in downtown Bradenton is causing traffic delays on Manatee Avenue, city officials said Thursday morning.
15th Street West is closed between Sixth Avenue West and Seventh Avenue West. Crews are working to repair the water main in that area, according to a City of Bradenton social media post.
Manatee Avenue West and Sixth Avenue West, approaching 14th Street West, are temporarily limited to one travel lane. According to the FL511 traffic map, there are severe eastbound traffic delays on Manatee Avenue.
The city asks that drivers use caution and consider alternate routes while crews work to complete repairs.
