A Bradenton grocer has sold a Florida Lottery big money winning ticket

The day before Saturday’s Powerball jackpot reaches $1 billion, Friday’s Jackpot Triple Play, Cash4Life, Fantasy 5, Mega Millions games turned into a lucrative end to the workweek for two grocery shoppers.

Even numbers proved lucky in the Fantasy 5 midday draw — 8, 22, 28, 32 and 36 — and those numbers were on a Quick Pick ticket bought at Bradenton’s Lit’le Country Store, 825 15th St. East. That’s a $58,101.75 stroke of luck.

A Fantasy 5 evening draw player at a Publix, 7117 Merrill Rd. in Jacksonville, chose 3, 12, 16, 21, and 33, choices worth $117,981.

These tickets must be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the nine district offices. The closest office to Bradenton is in Tampa’s Centerpoint Business Park, 1911 U.S. 301 North, Suite 170, and can be reached at 813-744-6134 or TAMRC@flalottery.com.
