When is trash pickup in Manatee County for Memorial Day holiday week?
Manatee County will not pick up trash or recycling on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
Trash, recycling and yard waste pickup will be one day late for the rest of the holiday week.
The cities of Bradenton and Palmetto will follow the same schedule.
Manatee County government offices, public libraries and the Lena Road Landfill will be closed on Memorial Day. Bradenton and Palmetto government offices will also be closed.
Manatee County public parks, preserves and beaches will be open.
Memorial Day MCAT schedule
Manatee County Area Transit will not offer fixed route or Handy Bus service on Monday.
The Anna Maria Island Trolley will follow its normal daily schedule. The Manatee Avenue Beach Express will run on a holiday schedule.
Local Memorial Day events
The Manatee County Veterans Council will hold its annual Memorial Day service at 9 a.m. Monday at Don Courtney Veterans’ Monument Park, 176 Waterfront Drive, Bradenton.
