Bradenton man scores millions on Florida Lottery game. What was his lucky ticket?
A Bradenton man is over $1 million richer after he claimed a top prize on a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.
Jesus Morales, 28, bought the winning ticket at the Ellenton Quick Mart, 2413 U.S. 301 North, according to the Florida Lottery.
Morales won the top prize in the “$2,000,000 100X Cashword” scratch-off game. He chose to take a lump-sum payment of $1,280,000, lottery officials said.
The $10 scratch-off game offers more than $220 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.37.
Lottery players have now claimed all of the game’s top prizes, according to the Florida Lottery. Odds of winning a top prize were 1-in-3,792,743.
The Ellenton Quick Mart received a $4,000 for selling the ticket, lottery officials said.
