A section of Manatee Avenue reopened Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving an overturned crane shut down the road, police said.

The crash happened reported just before 1 p.m. near 25th Street East, according to the Bradenton Police Department. A truck carrying a crane overturned, damaging power lines and blocking part of Manatee Avenue near 24th Street East, police said.

Part of the road was closed for nearly an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes of Manatee Avenue were reopened just before 2 p.m.

FPL also responded to the scene to begin repairing the power lines, according to the agency.

No one was hurt in the crash, police said.
