Do you have a new polling location after Helene and Milton? Here’s how to check
Manatee County election officials will change some voters’ polling locations for Election Day because of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
Election Day is just two weeks away on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Supervisor of Elections James Satcher said he wants to make sure displaced voters can still cast their ballots after some areas were hit hard with hurricane damage.
“Despite these challenging times, we know that Manatee County is a resilient community,” Satcher said in a statement. “Our priority is to make sure you can exercise your right to vote in this important upcoming election.”
The changes will affect voters in five of the county’s 71 precincts.
