A crane truck overturned after a Thursday afternoon crash on Interstate 75 in Manatee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 45-year-old man was driving the truck northbound in the inside center lane on I-75 in Bradenton when troopers say the right front tire suddenly lost air pressure, causing the truck to spin into the left front of a Land Rover SUV.

After colliding with the Land Rover, which was also traveling northbound, the truck overturned onto its left side on the grassy shoulder to the east.

The crash happened at around 1:22 p.m. near mile marker 217 and caused northbound traffic delays for several hours, according to an FHP traffic map.

Troopers say both drivers were brought to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
