Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport launches new nonstop flight to the Northeast
There’s a new nonstop flight to the Northeast from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.
Allegiant announced the route from SRQ to Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Tuesday. Flights to the Granite State city begin in November.
It’s the first nonstop flight between SRQ and any New Hampshire airport, and it marks Allegiant’s 28th nonstop destination from SRQ.
“We are pleased that Allegiant Air will be introducing a new nonstop destination to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport,” SRQ president and CEO Rick Piccolo said in a news release. “Portsmouth, NH (PSM) will be Allegiant’s 28th nonstop destination from SRQ and marks the first nonstop flight between the state of New Hampshire and SRQ. With the completion of the new terminal expansion on the horizon, we anticipate continued growth with Allegiant at SRQ.”
The route was part of eight nonstop routes Allegiant announced.
Allegiant said one-way tickets for the route to Portsmouth International Airport at Pease will cost as low as $69 and begin November 23.

The prices do not include baggage fees or optional services. And for the introductory $69 rate, tickets must be purchased by Wednesday for travel by Feb. 10, 2025. The price includes taxes, carrier charges and government fees, according to Allegiant.
“The addition of new routes is a testament to the success of our existing service in these communities,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer said in a news release. “Our network planning team is responsive to consumer demand, constantly looking for opportunities to enhance the leisure travel experience. The new service kicks off just in time to plan warm winter getaways to sought-after coastal destinations.”
