July 4 holiday affects trash collection in Bradenton and Manatee County. What to know
The Fourth of July holiday will change trash pickup schedules in Bradenton and Manatee County this week.
Here’s the holiday garbage schedule.
Trash, recycling and yard waste collections will be delayed by one day. Thursday’s pickup will move to Friday and Friday’s pickup will move to Saturday.
The Lena Road Landfill will be closed on Thursday. There will be no Manatee County Area Transit fixed route service or Handy Bus service on Thursday, but the Anna Maria Trolley and Manatee Avenue Beach Express routes will follow their normal daily routes, according to a news release.
Government offices and libraries will also be closed for the holiday.
