These pickleball courts in Bradenton were ranked Top 25 in US by Pickleball Magazine
A magazine for one of the more popular recreation sports in the past few years has named G.T. Bray park’s courts as a top pickleball facility.
The Bradenton venue’s courts at the C.V. Walton Racquet Center, which opened in 2022, made Pickleball Magazine’s 25 Great Places to Play Pickleball list.
“G. T. Bray Pickleball Complex is a state-of-the-art facility. It’s no surprise to our users to be named one of the best,” said Deputy Director of Manatee County Sports and Leisure Services Molly White.
“We have a great community, and we are happy to be able to meet their pickleball needs while attracting tournaments with players from all over the US.”
Manatee County Commission Chair Kevin Van Ostenbridge added: “It’s great to see recognition like this. It is an acknowledgment of the ongoing commitment to keeping our county amenities world-class.”
Other Florida venues named in the Top 25 list were Miami’s DETA Pickleball Club, the East Naples Community Park in Naples, PicklePlex in Punta Gorda, Pictona in Holly Hill and the USTA’s National Training Center in Orlando.
