Police investigating death at Bradenton Riverwalk 

Police are investigating Thursday after a body was pulled from the Manatee River near the Bradenton Riverwalk Skateboard Park.

Police say they believe the death was suicide, and foul play is not suspected.

As of 3:10 p.m., a portion of the Bradenton Riverwalk was closed while the investigation was completed.

“The Riverwalk will reopen once the scene is clear,” the police department said.

The skateboard park is located along Riverfront Boulevard, just east of First Street East/U.S. 41.
