Health department is closing COVID testing site in Bradenton. Here’s where to go

The Florida Department of Health in Manatee County announced its COVID-19 testing site will close this week at the main campus in downtown Bradenton.

The testing site’s last day is Friday.

Other testing centers for COVID-19 in Manatee County include:

  • Bradenton Area Convention Center on 1 Haben Boulevard in Palmetto
  • Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
  • Bradenton VA clinic
  • Urgent care and pediatrician doctor’s offices

Free vaccinations are still offered at the DOH-Manatee’s main campus, located at 410 Sixth Avenue East in Bradenton, by appointment or on a walk-in basis, a news release said.

The Department of Health’s website lists a directory of COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccination sites throughout the state.
