Bradenton-based retailer Bealls Inc. has promoted Tianne Doyle to president of the company.

Doyle, a Bradenton resident, is the first woman to serve in that capacity. She joined Bealls in 1991 and has held numerous leadership positions across the company.

She rose to become executive vice president and chief merchandise officer in 2020. She is a native of the Tampa area, where she attended Chamberlain High School.

Doyle will be responsible for store operations, merchandising, product development and marketing for the company’s portfolio of 670 retail stores in 23 states.

“Tianne is a highly respected leader with an outstanding reputation in the retail industry. She puts her all into everything that she does,” Matt Beall, chairman and CEO, said in a press release.

“Tianne creates and maintains genuine relationships with co-workers and external partners. She is a skilled collaborator and an excellent communicator whose authenticity shines brightly in all that she does,” Beall said.

Doyle began her career with Macy’s. She is a graduate of Florida State University and a board member at Soles4Souls.

At a time when many retailers have struggled, Bealls has continued to grow, adding over 150 store locations in just over two years.

Matt Beall, a previous president of Bealls, Inc., became CEO of the company in 2020.
