Manatee County gained 11 newly wed couples on Valentine’s Day.
Well, there may have been more than that, but 11 is how many said their vows Tuesday on the front lawn of the Manatee County Historic Courthouse, 115 Manatee Ave. W.
Clerk of Court Angel Colonneso announced that the cloudless day was a perfect time for couples to pledge to spend their lives together.
It was the third annual group Valentine’s Day wedding, hosted by the Clerk’s Office.
Participating couples received a printed photo and a certificate of marriage, as well as refreshments and cake to celebrate with their guests.
