A new national sandwich shop chain is coming to Bradenton with first restaurant planned
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, a fast-growing national restaurant chain based in Las Vegas, Nevada, has plans to open its first restaurant in Bradenton.
Recently, Edible Cortez LLC filed paperwork with Manatee County Building Services for interior build out of 1,402-square-feet of space in the Shoppes of Paradise Bay, 7480 Cortez Road W., for a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop.
The space, between a Starbucks and a Cold Stone Creamery, was formerly occupied by Edward Jones Investments.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was founded in 1976 by siblings Lois and Alan Margolet in the Little Italy neighborhood of Wilmington, Delaware, according to the company’s website.
“At Capriotti’s, we don’t sacrifice food quality for efficiency. Our Butterball turkeys are slow-roasted daily, and we serve American Wagyu beef on many of our sandwiches and only the highest quality proteins throughout our menu. Our food is the real deal,” the company says.
Capriotti’s has more than 175 locations across the country, and is going international, recently announcing plans to expand into India.
The menu includes a variety of cheese steaks (including a Impossible cheese steak option), chicken sandwiches, turkey subs, Italian sandwiches, vegetarian sandwiches, salads and sides.
The first three Capriotti’s in Florida are in Miami, Lutz and Odessa.
“Capriotti’s was born from a desire to create something unique while honoring family heritage. To this day the whole roast turkeys, quality meats and cheeses, and fresh rolls and produce continue to impress our patrons and earn awards across the country,” the company said.
Several new restaurant chains have recently opened stores in the Bradenton area, including Slim’s Chickens, Kelly’s Roast Beef and Del Taco.
