There’s a new way to report storm damage in Bradenton and Manatee County
The Manatee County Government has introduced a new storm reporting software for Bradenton residents, including local business owners.
This digital software, Crisis Track, will be used in real-time to assist and guide effective storm damage assessment and response.
Residents should use the software to report any damages in the county caused by a severe storm and can access Crisis Track by visiting its website.https://www.crisistrack.com/public/manateeFL/request.html
Residents use the service by selecting the disaster event they want to report damage for, such as Hurricane Ian or Tropical Storm Nicole.
Residents then select the type of damage, followed by their address, ZIP code, a written description and a link to upload images.
Residents will also be required to disclose whether or not the structure is insured, as well as provide personal or business contact information.
“Crisis Track is a proven tool. The new resident reporting feature allows us to work in partnership with our residents to quickly assess and pinpoint areas of damage in real-time after a major weather event like Tropical Storm Nicole,” Courtney De Pol Deputy County Administrator said in a statement.
If anyone has trouble using the self-reporting link, they should call 311 to report the damage.
