Who’s the best football player in Bradenton or Manatee County this week? Vote now.

The high school football regular season is winding down. With two weeks left before the playoffs begin, some standout players shined on teams across Manatee County in Week 9.

Now you can you decide which one should be the Bradenton Herald’s Player of the Week.

Fans can vote until the poll closes at noon Thursday, and results will be published with Friday’s live scores and updates.

Here are the nominees:

  • Clayton Dees, Lakewood Ranch junior: 14 of 21 for 190 passing yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, 115.1 QBR
  • Kevin Everhart, Lakewood Ranch senior: 26 carries for 134 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 5 receptions for 46 receiving yards, 1 INT on defense
  • Jordan Radkey, Parrish Community sophomore: 8 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 hurries
  • Evan Brown, Saint Stephen’s junior: 10 carries for 100 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 3 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 INT, 1 pass defended
  • Griffin Derusso, Out-of-Door Academy senior: 27 carries for 179 rushing yards
  • Allen Clark, Out-of-Door Academy freshman: 10 carries for 91 rushing yards
  • Luca Marino, Out-of-Door Academy senior: 12 carries for 94 rushing yards
  • Caleb Matelau, Bradenton Christian sophomore: 22 carries for 95 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 3 receptions for 26 receiving yards
